Inca Trail Itinerary 4D/3N
Day 1: Cusco – Km 82 – Wayllabamba
Departure from Cusco towards km 82, the starting point of the trek. Hike along the Urubamba River until reaching the campsite in Wayllabamba.
Day 2: Wayllabamba – Warmiwañusca Pass – Pacaymayo
The most demanding day of the trek. Ascent to the highest point, Warmiwañusca Pass (4,215 m), also known as “Dead Woman’s Pass”. Descent towards Pacaymayo.
Day 3: Pacaymayo – Wiñay Wayna
Tour of several Inca archaeological sites surrounded by stunning landscapes, including the Wiñay Wayna complex. Camp near the site.
Day 4: Wiñay Wayna – Machu Picchu
Early morning hike to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) for your first view of Machu Picchu. Guided tour of the citadel and return to Cusco.
